Founded in 2021 by Christian Flanigan, Invest In Our Youth is a community-focused organization committed to uplifting young people through mentorship, education, and sports. We believe that when youth are given the right support and opportunities, they can achieve anything.

Our programs are designed to help youth build confidence, gain essential life skills, and prepare for success—both personally and professionally. Whether it’s through structured mentoring, academic support, or athletic development, we create positive spaces where young people can grow, thrive, and lead.

About the Young Achievers Mentoring Program

The Young Achievers Mentoring Program is a new initiative created by Invest In Our Youth that began in 2022. The program is a school-based group mentoring program designed to help young men become confident, be a leader, and learn the true meaning of brotherhood.

Christian Flanigan founded the Young Achievers Mentoring Program in an effort to provide support and encouragement to school-aged youth. Mentors are volunteers from the community who have dedicated themselves to making a difference in the life of a young person. Mentors support the strengths of the youth and help build a sense of purpose, brotherhood, and vision. The youth in the program are called Young Achievers.

Safety

The safety and protection of the mentee and mentor is first priority. As a school-based mentoring program, we meet at and communicate through the school.

Leadership

The young men of the program will learn the importance of being leaders in everything that they do. Young Achievers will gain traits that make up a good leader that include self-confidence, teamwork, goal setting and communication skills.

Brotherhood

Having the right people to support you will always be very important. The Young Achievers Mentoring Program, connects like-minded individuals together to create a bond that brings them closer as one. We teach young men how to collaborate, build trust with their peers, and learn the true meaning of brotherhood.

Purpose

The Young Achievers Mentoring Program is designed to help its members address the importance of having purpose and knowing themselves. Members will go through activities and have discussions that will help them address these things and teach them how to use their purpose and knowledge to achieve in everything that they do.
